Aspirin trial in Bundoora

21 Feb, 2012 03:00 AM
A NEW clinical research facility at RMIT University's Bundoora campus will become a northern suburbs hub for community-based clinical trials.

The facility will host the Monash University-led ASPREE (Aspirin in Reducing Events in the Elderly) study.

The ASPREE study will investigate whether daily low-dose aspirin can help maintain good physical and mental health in older people.

Whittlesea mayor Stevan Kozmevski launched the facility yesterday.
