BUSHFIRE recovery group Wellness Ministries Inc has been successful in having its Bushfire Appeal Fund grant extended.
WMI secretary Ivan Peterson said the $345,000 fund, spread across seven communities, was due to expire in June.
The group has only spent $62,000 of the grant. However, after a meeting with the Bushfire Appeal Fund, WMI had been given a further 12 months to spend the money.
