CHILDREN in the Northern Hospital's children's and adolescent health unit gave illness the boot last week with a little help from their friends at Melbourne Victory Football Club.
Leigh Broxham, Tando Velaphi, Archie Thompson and Petar Franjic spent time visiting the hospital's youngest patients.
"Being able to bring a smile to a little one's face is one of the best parts of my job," star striker Thompson said.
